Stephane Ritchot

With more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment business, and as a professional senior project manager, Stephane Ritchot brings his expertise to value to your event.

A devoted volunteer supporting Team M.A.S.C. as president, Ottawa Safe Communities as one of the board directors and as the vice-president for the Gatineau Auto Show.  Over the years, he has cumulated a number of successes in project management. His first career was as founder and owner of X-Cell Productions.  Producing concerts and corporate events at the rate of 40 to 50 per year.  With family being is top priority, he sold the business in 2001 and went back to the Université du Québec en Outaouais where he studied at the master level in project management.  

As a second career, he went on to become a successful project manager for the Federal Government of Canada.  His multiple experiences in project management helped him thrive in his field.  This expertise is being put to good use for our community.

Going back to his roots, Stephane Ritchot is now a devoted mentor in the event industry.  With his cumulated skills, he's ready to share, teach, coach and mentor you in your project.  He has successfully helped a great number of events to thrive and be profitable.  His secret to his success is to bring creativity and innovation in the way event planning is achieved.  

With over 30 years of experience in program and project management and several years in event logistics dealing with city requirements, he can help you navigate the pitfalls and red-tape that are part of the logistics that surround event planning.

As an ex-military NCO with several years of overseas experience within the UN, Steph successfully transitioned to the High-Tech Security Industry in the mid 90’s and has held roles in a variety of positions including Product, Project and Program Management as well as training and translation development. For the past ten years, he has been employed by Stanley Healthcare which provides Security Systems for the Healthcare Acute and Long-Term Markets,

Graduating from the Canadian Forces Technical School in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in the 1980’s, he continued his education through the years successfully completing programs in “Developing Procedures, Policies and Documentation”, “Risk Assessment and Mitigation”, “Requirements Analysis” and “Advanced Managed Services”. 

Teaming up with Stephane Ritchot for the last 5 years he has served as a volunteer for Team M.A.S.C in a variety of positions including treasurer and Vice-President as well as serving as Director of Logistics for the Gatineau Auto-Show since its inception.

His years of training experience and excellent social skills combined with the ability to modulate for the audiences have made him an above average lecturer and trainer that can convey information and messages to experienced as well as new to the industry staff and volunteers alike. 

With this baggage, he is ready to share, teach, coach and mentor you and your team in your next project or event.
